The Rook 2 (26). The BGD Base is in between (25 up to 95, 26,3 up to 105)...
So the Nyos is (deliberately) a little bit smaller, faster... and weaker in weak thermals.

Just an observation, even if or course surface is not the only factor for VZ, specially if A.R. is involved!maricolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11608364094897672675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8348590068263371056.post-88511320694439239352016-03-25T17:14:46.577+02:002016-03-25T17:14:46.577+02:00I don't think its weight related in this case....I don't think its weight related in this case...Lots of other things are to be considered. For example a loaded Delta 2 (25sqm) still has the float-ability and the digging through weak lift.
Cheers, Ziad Ziad Bassilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03160776372320390250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8348590068263371056.post-60387299010616988072016-03-24T10:44:14.173+02:002016-03-24T10:44:14.173+02:00Hi Ziad,
Could the low efficiency in weak thermals...Hi Ziad,
Could the low efficiency in weak thermals come from the low flat area for the recommended weight? The M Size is "only" 25sqm for an 80-102 all-up load recommendation, which is small for a 5.8 AR wing, no?
Though it seems to be comfortable. I usually fly C wings between 24 and 25sqm at 85kg all up (and they are sold for a 70-90kg range), here I would need the 23, which makes me feel I'll have difficulties in our weak winter thermals...maricolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11608364094897672675noreply@blogger.com
